Marine Filming Experience

Maritime filming brings its own challenges. Moving vessels, changing weather, working crews, restricted areas and tight timings all need to be considered before the cameras start rolling.

We work closely with clients and site teams to understand the environment, plan the right approach and capture what is needed safely and efficiently, whether filming from the shore, working aboard a vessel or operating drones from the air.

Our maritime work includes the Mayflower Autonomous Ship project commissioned by IBM, alongside ongoing work with MSubs, Marine AI and Zero USV. Through these projects we have documented autonomous vessels, marine technology, testing, engineering and real-world operations both in port and at sea.

Our wider experience includes port infrastructure, shipbuilding, marine retail, cruise operations and scientific projects, with work for organisations including Associated British Ports, Cattewater Harbour Commissioners, Manor Marine and Plymouth Marine Centre.

Marine Drone Filming & FPV

Marine drone filming can show the movement of a vessel, the scale of a port or facility, and how an operation fits within its wider environment.

Our experience includes operating drones and FPV from RIBs, quaysides and controlled sites, tracking moving and high-speed vessels and working around active marine environments.

For projects requiring a more immersive perspective, FPV allows us to move dynamically through and around environments where conventional aerial filming cannot create the same sense of scale and movement.

We select equipment around the project, environment and shot rather than forcing every production into the same setup.

Autonomy, CGI & Technical Visualisation

For technical and autonomy projects, live-action video can make complex operations easier to understand by showing technology working in its real environment.

Where live footage alone cannot explain a product, system or future concept, our CGI and visualisation capabilities can support the production with 3D renders, technical visualisations, motion graphics and realistic water simulations.

Creative Direction & Post-Production

Strong creative direction runs through every project.

We refine concepts, shape ideas and plan production around the footage the final film actually needs. Drone, FPV, ground cameras, interviews, photography and CGI can then be brought together through editing, colour, sound and motion graphics to create one consistent visual story.

The aim is not simply to produce impressive footage. It is to create maritime content that helps customers, investors, stakeholders and wider audiences understand the scale, movement and importance of the work being shown.
