Oli Dickinson, Founder and Lead Operator
Oli is a highly experienced drone and FPV pilot with extensive experience operating in maritime, industrial and complex environments.
Alongside CAA and EASA drone qualifications, he holds RYA Powerboat Level 2 with Commercial Endorsement and RYA Day Skipper qualifications, giving him a practical understanding of vessel operations, working harbours and filming at sea.
He also builds, develops and maintains Different View’s custom FPV systems, allowing the company to adapt its aerial capability around demanding commercial environments rather than relying solely on off-the-shelf platforms.

Oli founded Different View after developing a background in professional photography and specialist drone operations. He now leads the company’s filming and aerial work, with extensive experience across maritime, industrial and complex operating environments.
A highly experienced drone and FPV pilot, Oli has worked from vessels, within working harbours, around marine autonomy projects, industrial sites and high-security environments where careful planning, permissions and operational awareness are essential.

His experience includes commercial maritime, broadcast, marine autonomy, industrial and specialist drone projects, working with organisations across the UK and internationally.
Outside work, Oli’s interests include surfing, cricket, football and trying to keep calm on a golf course.
Joe is an experienced graphic and web designer with more than 15 years in the industry, delivering high-quality creative work for clients including the BBC, NHS, Hilton and Hyatt. His work is grounded in a strong understanding of both aesthetics and communication, enabling him to create design that is not only visually refined but strategically effective.
Working across web design, branding, digital creative and visualisation, Joe brings a broad and thoughtful approach to every project. He excels at understanding client objectives, translating complex ideas into clear and engaging design, and producing work that balances creativity with commercial purpose. From websites and brand communications to polished visual content that helps concepts, environments and experiences feel tangible, he creates work that is considered, effective and built to connect with its audience.
His versatility, creative judgement and depth of experience make him a valued part of the team and a trusted creative partner for clients across a wide range of sectors.
